FORWARD MOHAMED YASSER

IS COMING TO BOHEMIANS

The 25-year-old Egyptian comes to Ďolíček from Sigma Olomouc. He signed a three-year contract with the club until June 30, 2029.

The summer transfer window is slowly coming to an end, but the clubs' activity in the transfer market continues. In the case of Bohemians, this is the eighth summer arrival, not counting the return of Šimon Černý from a loan spell in Příbram. The newest face in the Klokan cabin is 194 cm tall striker Mohamed Yasser.

He is not an unknown name in the Czech league, the Egyptian forward played in the Czech Republic in addition to the aforementioned Sigma and Teplice. He came to North Bohemia at the beginning of 2022 on loan from Al-Ahly SC. That expired last summer and Olomouc reached out to the player.

Mohamed Yasser played mainly for the under-21 youth team at the Egyptian giant club Al Ahly. In January 2022, he also got a chance in the first team in the Egyptian League Cup against Al Mokawloon. At the end of the match, he managed to score, but his goal was called off after a VAR check. In April 2023, Yasser took care of one of the most curious situations of his career in the Czech Republic. In the match against Mladá Boleslav, goalkeeper Tomáš Grigar was sent off in the 89th minute, Teplice could no longer make substitutions, so Yasser stood in goal. He took over the gloves from Grigar, finished the rest of the match without conceding a goal and contributed to a 1:1 draw.

Now the footballer, who scored 11 goals in sixty-five matches in the highest Czech competition, is moving to Prague. He underwent a medical last week and his transfer to Bohemians was finally confirmed today.

He will wear the kangaroo jersey until the end of the 2028/2029 season. Welcome to Ďolíček!
