STRIKER LADISLAV ALMÁLSI JOINS FROM OSTRAVA
Bohemians have completed the signing of Slovak striker Ladislav Almási from Baník Ostrava ahead of the start of pre-season training.
The 27-year-old forward brings significant experience from the Czech top flight. Standing almost two metres tall, Almási is renowned for his physical presence, ability to hold up the ball, and aerial prowess, making him a constant threat in the final third.
Almási began his football journey in the youth systems of DAC Dunajská Streda and Senica before making his breakthrough at MFK Ružomberok.
He joined Baník Ostrava in the summer of 2021 and quickly established himself as a key member of the squad. During the 2021/22 season, he scored 16 league goals, finishing among the leading scorers in the Czech First League.
His impressive form earned him a senior international debut for Slovakia in October 2021 against Russia. To date, he has made nine appearances for the national team.
Across four seasons in the Czech First League, Almási has made 80 appearances and scored 26 goals.
He spent the spring of 2024 on loan with Croatian side NK Osijek before featuring for DAC Dunajská Streda and Hungarian club Zalaegerszegi TE during the 2024/25 campaign.
On 1 June 2026, Almási completed a permanent transfer from Baník Ostrava to Bohemians, signing a contract that will keep him at Ďolíček until the summer of 2029.
Welcome to Ďolíček, Laco!
