Second Half: Game comes to life
The visitors emerged with renewed purpose after the restart and came agonisingly close to levelling within five minutes when Matoušek's superb curling strike crashed against the crossbar. Instead of equalising, Bohemians were dealt another blow moments later. Jan Fortelný's run into the penalty area ended with a blocked effort that fell kindly for Pulkrab, who instinctively bundled home his second goal of the afternoon to double Teplice's advantage.
Bohemians refused to surrender and finally found a route back into the match in the 68th minute. Pilař drove forward before releasing Milan Havel on the left, whose inviting cross was emphatically headed home by Almási for his first league goal on his debut in green and white. Buoyed by the goal, the visitors pushed hard for an equaliser and came desperately close when Havel's low cross into the six-yard box was brilliantly intercepted by Trmal just before it could reach Martin Zeman for what looked a certain finish.
With Bohemians committing numbers forward in search of a late leveller, Teplice delivered the decisive blow. A long clearance from Trmal was not dealt with by the visitors' defence, allowing substitute John Auta to race clear. The Nigerian forward ignored the option of a square pass before drilling an excellent finish inside the near post to make it 3-1 and end Bohemians' hopes of a comeback. Five minutes of added time produced no further drama as Teplice opened the new league campaign with a deserved victory, while Bohemians were left to reflect on an encouraging attacking display that ultimately lacked the defensive resilience required to take anything from the match.
We started the game well, the home team was nervous at the beginning. We had good gains and transitions, but we didn't finish them off with a dangerous finish. For example, we should have finished the four-on-two break better. The first goal was decisive. Then Teplice controlled the game, had seven corners and gained territory. At the end of the first half, we withstood their greatest pressure. We also started the second half actively, but a break came, from which the home team punished us. Then our best passage came and the contact goal was deserved. The momentum of the match was on our side. Unfortunately, we conceded a stupid goal to make it 3:1, which decided the game. I have to say that the team showed strength and didn't give up in an unfavorable situation. When we get three goals, it's hard to do anything about it.

The arrival of Čermák and Vientiesse, who as a defender has a constructive passing game, helped us. We wanted to change the image of our game. It was still just one match that worked out for us in terms of results, and in 60-70 percent of the game. The activity in the first thirty-five minutes was what we wanted.
