Bohemians Praha 1905: Bohemians showed considerable resilience to come away from Eden with a 2–2 draw, despite being heavily outplayed statistically during the opening half. The Klokani made the most of their limited opportunities, with Ladislav Almási emphatically converting Havel's determined work on the byline to level the match in the first half. They remained dangerous on the counter after the interval, although they missed a promising three-on-one opportunity through Matoušek. Even after Chorý restored Slavia's lead, Bohemians refused to surrender and were rewarded for their persistence when Heidenreich released Roman Květ, who equalised in the 89th minute. Slavia: Slavia dominated large periods of the match and were the more attacking side, particularly before half-time, when they registered 15 shots and nine corners compared with Bohemians' two shots and no corners. They deservedly took the lead through Mubarak Suleiman and continued to create chances, but their inability to convert that pressure into a more substantial advantage ultimately proved costly. Slavia were less effective after the break and, although Tomáš Chorý restored their lead in the 75th minute, they failed to protect it. A missed opportunity to make it 3-1 was followed by Roman Květ's late equaliser, while N'Guessan's stoppage-time goal was subsequently ruled out for offside by VAR. The result represented a second successive league draw for the champions and a significant loss of points ahead of the derby with Sparta.

Bohemians produced a spirited late comeback to earn a valuable 2-2 draw away to reigning champions Slavia Prague in the Vršovice derby. The hosts twice took the lead through Mubarak Suleiman and Tomáš Chorý, but the Klokani responded on both occasions, with Ladislav Almási equalising in the first half before Roman Květ struck in the 89th minute. Slavia thought they had won it deep into stoppage time, only for Ange N'Guessan's effort to be ruled out for offside following a VAR review. The result also ended Bohemians' ten-year wait for a league point at Eden.

First Half: Slavia dominate, Bohemians respond

Slavia made the stronger start in front of almost 19,000 supporters and quickly established the expected territorial pressure. Bohemians, however, created the first clear opportunity when Roman Květ released Jan Havel with a lob. Havel's cross found Matěj Matoušek, whose powerful effort from a promising position struck Chaloupek.

The home side eventually made their pressure count midway through the half. Šturm raced through one-on-one with Bohemians goalkeeper Frühwald, who produced an excellent save to deny him. The rebound fell kindly to Mubarak Suleiman, however, and the Nigerian midfielder calmly converted into the unguarded net to open the scoring.

Bohemians refused to be discouraged and found their equaliser in the 30th minute. Havel showed determination to keep a seemingly overhit cross in play right on the byline before sending the ball back across goal. Ladislav Almási met it with a powerful finish that beat Markovič and made it 1-1. It was Almási's second league goal of the season following his summer move from Ostrava.

Slavia continued to threaten and finished the opening period with a huge statistical advantage, registering 15 shots to Bohemians' two and nine corners to none. Yet the Klokani had held firm and went into the interval level.

Second Half: Květ strikes late

Bohemians had an early opportunity to take the lead after the restart when they broke three against one, but Matoušek's hurried shot was blocked by N'Guessan. Slavia subsequently found it harder to impose themselves, although a dangerous cross from substitute Chorý almost resulted in Kadlec turning the ball into his own net in the 70th minute.

The hosts finally regained the advantage five minutes later. Chaloupek threaded a superb pass through the Bohemians defence to release Tomáš Chorý, who cut his shot from an angle towards the far post and found the net in the 75th minute. It was the striker's first goal of the season.

Bohemians, though, remained in the contest. After Kačor missed a major opportunity to put the result beyond doubt, the visitors punished Slavia in the closing stages. In the 89th minute, David Heidenreich released Roman Květ, who fired through the goalkeeper to make it 2-2. The goal was particularly significant for Květ, as it was his first in the Czech top flight since February 2023.

Slavia appeared to have snatched victory in the fifth minute of stoppage time when N'Guessan bundled the ball home from a rebound. However, a VAR review showed that he had been marginally offside and the goal was disallowed.

Bohemians therefore held on for a hard-earned 2-2 draw, making it three consecutive league matches without defeat after their opening-day loss at Teplice. The Klokani also became the first Bohemians side in ten years to avoid defeat at Eden in a league meeting with Slavia.

It was a very emotional match. In terms of how we organised our play, we didn’t do badly, although there were, of course, periods when Slavia put us under pressure. Just as there were moments when we held our own against them. We managed to bounce back from setbacks twice. I appreciate that; the lads showed character and belief. You always have to take a point when you’re losing with a minute to go. Slavia don’t give away many points at home; they have a near-perfect record. The value of this point will only become clear in the next match. If we don’t manage to win that one, it won’t mean much to us.

The opposition put up a spirited performance, which is what we’d expected. We had the upper hand, as well as chances to score. We made mistakes at the back and found it hard to recover from them. Just when we’d fought our way back into the lead and created further chances to seal the win, we ended up conceding a goal in the penultimate minute. Football has moments like that. We should have scored more goals. The first half was fast-paced; at times we broke through Bohemka’s defence well. From my point of view, a 1–1 draw wasn’t enough. After the break, we got a bit nervous. With Chorý coming on, we managed to turn the game around, which makes it all the more disappointing that we didn’t take all three points.
